Introduction

BVM Network is designed to be compatible with Ethereum's Web3 API and EVM, aiming to facilitate the seamless operation of unmodified Ethereum DApps on its platform. This compatibility is achieved through the development of cosmos Evmos, an Ethereum compatibility layer for cosmos-based chains. However, it's important for developers to note that not all Ethereum JSON-RPC methods are supported on EVMOS, and some supported methods may return default values. This document highlights the key differences in Ethereum RPC support on BVM Network and sets the expectations for developers new to BVM Network.
